Save with friends.
Build credit together.

CoSeed digitises the rotating savings circles millions of people already use around the world. Version one is private — pool money with the friends you trust. Public pods and credit-bureau reporting are next.

The problem

A score you don't have is a door that won't open.

Millions of people manage money carefully every day — rent, groceries, sending help to family — and have nothing on a credit report to show for it. The result: higher rates on everything, or no loan at all.

Millions
of Americans have no usable credit score today.
No credit history means lenders treat steady payers and unknowns the same.
Rent, utilities, and informal lending rarely show up on a traditional credit report.
"Credit builder" cards and loans charge fees to prove what your bank statement already shows.
Millions
already save this way through informal community circles worldwide.
Called ROSCAs, tandas, susus, hui, ekub, kameti, chit funds — same idea, different names.
They work because everyone in the circle trusts each other.
None of those payments ever count toward your credit score. Until now.
The concept

A time-tested way to save —
with a modern receipt.

A rotating savings circle is simple: a few people agree to chip in the same amount each month. Each month, one person takes the whole pot. After everyone has had a turn, the circle ends — or starts again.

1
Form a Pod
A small group of people who agree on a contribution amount, a schedule, and the rotation order. We call it a Pod.
2
Everyone contributes
Each cycle, every member's bank is auto-debited for the same amount. No chasing anyone for cash.
3
One member gets the pot
The whole month's contributions go to one person — for a deposit, a flight home, school fees, or just savings. Then it rotates.
4
Every on-time payment is a receipt
CoSeed records every contribution. Once credit-bureau reporting launches, those receipts become the credit history you've been waiting for.

How CoSeed v1 works

Pool money with friends, end-to-end in the app.

Version one keeps it simple and private: invite-only pods, friends you already trust, automatic contributions, and a clear payout schedule.

1

Create a pod

Pick the contribution amount, the schedule, and how many friends you'll invite. CoSeed runs the math.

2

Invite friends

Send invites by username, phone, or share link. Members link their bank securely with Plaid.

3

Auto-pull contributions

Every cycle, everyone's contribution is pulled automatically. No reminders, no awkward asks.

4

Get your payout

When it's your turn, the full pot lands in your account 5 days after the pull clears. Then it rotates.

The roadmap

Where CoSeed is going.

We're starting small on purpose. Friends-only pods first — trust is the foundation. Public pods and credit reporting follow once the rails are battle-tested.

Available now

Save with friends. Pay with the apps you already use.

Friends-only Safe and Gift pods. CoSeed keeps the ledger; you settle on Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, or Zelle. We never touch your money.

Safe pods — rotating savings, one round at a time
Gift pods — pool toward one named recipient
Settle on Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, or Zelle
Slot bidding — pay extra for an earlier turn
Find friends from your phone contacts
Push reminders so no one forgets a round

Bank links + public pods.

For groups that want CoSeed to move the money for them — and for people whose friend circle is too small to pod up alone.

Bank-linked auto-pull contributions via Plaid + Dwolla
Public pods — join vetted strangers when friends aren't enough
Member ratings and Trust Score for public-pod access
Later

Credit reporting + member protection.

Turn every on-time pod payment into real credit history, and back members against the occasional no-show.

On-time payments reported to Equifax, TransUnion, Experian
Default protection so a missed round doesn't break a pod
Express transfers, achievement badges, savings milestones
Safety

Bank-grade by default.

Money moves through regulated rails. Your data is encrypted on every hop and never resold.

Plaid-secured bank links

You authorise Plaid to verify your account — CoSeed never sees or stores your bank password.

Encrypted PII at rest

Sensitive personal info is encrypted with AES-128 + HMAC-SHA-256 before it ever hits our database.

Tamper-evident audit log

Every account, money, and admin action is recorded in a hash-chained ledger that can't be silently edited.

FAQ

Quick answers.

We're in closed beta on TestFlight now. Public launch on iOS and Android is rolling out in waves to people on the waitlist. Join above and you'll be notified the moment your invite is ready.
Version one is friends-only — every pod is private and invite-only. You decide who's in and how much. Public pods (save with vetted strangers) are coming once we've finished battle-testing the rails.
The core friends-only pod is free during beta. Optional add-ons (credit-bureau reporting subscriptions, Chit pods, express payouts) carry a small fee — you only pay if you opt in.
When the feature ships, you'll opt in to a tier (Basic / Standard / Premium) and CoSeed reports every on-time pod payment to one or more bureaus through a licensed aggregator. Your good behaviour starts showing up on your credit file. It's launching after the v1 friends-only release.
Funds move through regulated ACH rails — the same network your bank uses. Your bank login never touches CoSeed (Plaid handles it). Sensitive info is encrypted at rest. Every privileged action is recorded in an audit log we can't quietly edit.
We auto-check every member's balance two days before each pull and notify anyone who needs to top up. If a contribution still fails, the admin can grant a grace period, vote with the group, or close the pod cleanly. Because v1 is friends-only, you're choosing who you'd trust to do this anyway.
